Say the name Jesus

The saints had a secret. They were always aware of God's presence.

Say the name, “Jesus” often, as you would say a friend’s name. Use the name, “Jesus” to drive away fear, to rescue from temptation, to banish loneliness and to conquer your faults.

When you tenderly say the name, “Jesus”, God Himself hears and quickly attends to you.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary full of grace

A morning prayer

Good morning Dear Lord, I come to do Your will. May everything I say and do this day please You. Jesus I love You and I thank You for dying on the cross for me. Please be my strength, for You know my weakness. Through the most pure heart of Mary I offer to You all my works, joys, sorrows and sufferings of this day. Amen

Thanks before meals (Grace)

Bless us Lord and make us truly thankful for the food that we are about to eat. May we be always mindful of those who are in need. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen

An evening prayer

My Lord, my Savior, my Friend, I thank You for helping me this day. I am sorry for the many times that I did not follow Your commandments. As I lay my body down to rest, send Your Holy Spirit to give me a new heart, so that tomorrow I can better love and serve You. Amen

Prayer at the close of day

Guide us waking, O Lord,
and guard us sleeping;
that awake we may watch
with Christ, and asleep
we may rest in peace.

The Glory Be

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to The Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be. World without end. Amen

The Jesus Prayer

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, have mercy on me, a sinner.

or

Lord Jesus Christ, born for us, crucified for us, have mercy on me,
a sinner. Amen

Repeating this prayer gives great comfort to those who have lost their way. The simplicity of the prayer helps us focus on Jesus and his merciful love.

Chaplet of Divine Mercy

A prayer of contrition

My God I am truly sorry for having offended You Who are so good and so deserving of all my love. I am determined with Your help to confess my sins, to change my life and to follow You. Amen

Consecration to Mary the Mother of God

My Queen! My Mother! I give myself entirely to you, and to show my devotion to you, I consecrate to you this day, my eyes, my ears, my mouth, my heart, my whole being without reserve. Therefore, good Mother, as I am yours, keep me and guard me as your property and possession.
