A spiritual daybook

Plan your daybook to grow closer to Jesus:

  • Start with Morning Prayer, Prayer to the Holy Spirit, and the Sacred Heart Litany.

  • During the day, have Quiet Time with Jesus.

  • While traveling, say the rosary.

  • Practice awareness of God's presence... talk to Jesus.

  • At night... examine your conscience.

Pray each day, so your day will go better. Pray at night to close your day.

Once a week during Quiet Time, review your behavior. We can be so caught up in our own problems that we don't see what is happening to those around us, including family. When we are told bad news, our response is, "I didn't realize."

Ask the Holy Spirit to give you an awareness of others and how you may be able to help them. It isn't just about giving money. Helpful and encouraging words have a lot of mileage.

The suggestion to ask Jesus for His help is often welcomed.

Do you bring others closer to God, by your example, or do you lead them away?
